In the meantime, why don't you get a laugh at seeing me as I used to be compared to the way I am now. I haven't changed much as far as I can tell. From those by-gone years starting out in California to growing up in a small rural town in (Braggs) Oklahoma.
I went through what everybody else went through growing up, changes in location, changes in friends, and of couse losing the one's I loved. I don't know if that makes me harder or stronger, but it is the way of life.
Most people say I've held my age pretty well. I don't see it of course, they're just being kind. I've gained wrinkles and years to go along with my grumpy disposition. But I do remember that person from long ago and marvel he made it this far.
Young and dumb to old and stupid. When you add it all up, the sum of he whole doesn't equal to the whole of my life. I've been fortunate and not so fortunate, but I have been trying.
But I don't regret a thing. I've traveled some, seen many places, done things a litle kid from the sticks could only dream about, and met some of the most interesting people in the world. Maybe this is just another chapter.
And the one thing I wish the most: That I could finally find a descent place to fish and actually catch one worth keeping.
And yes, I laugh every time I see these too.
